These teeth belonged to Suchomimus, whose name translates to "crocodile mimic," Suchomimus was a unique theropod dinosaur known for its distinctive long snout and robust frame. Inhabiting what is now Africa, this predator grew to impressive lengths Stretching up to 36 feet (11 meters). Even rivaling its more famous relatives, which include the iconic Spinosaurus.

Each tooth is unique, and will show some signs of repair (cracks, small chips, etc).

Size: Approximately 2cm - 4.5cm

Suchomimus was perfectly adapted for a semi-aquatic lifestyle. Its elongated jaws, studded with sharp, conical teeth, made it a formidable fisherman. Fossils of this dinosaur have been found in the famous Elrhaz Formation of Niger (125-112 million years ago) providing crucial insights into the ecosystems of the ancient river systems that existed back then. This tooth not only represents a long-lost creature but also symbolizes the enduring spirit of scientific exploration. It's a testament to the dynamic nature of our planet's history and the awe-inspiring creatures that once called it home.

Each purchase includes a glass top display box and an informational card about the fossil.
