These fossilized Great White shark teeth were collected in south eastern riverbeds in the United States. Great white sharks evolved between 2.5 to 5 million years ago, during the Pliocene Epoch. And still thrive in Earths oceans today. They are exceptionally vulnerable to human interactions like climate change, fishing, poaching, and naturally low birth rates.  Great whites have been known to live up to 60 years old in the wild. A few fossil localities off the coast of South America with prehistoric Great white shark teeth, yield high amounts of juvenile teeth. Suggesting that these sharks guarded their young from predators in shallow waters until they grew large enough to fend for themselves.

A small tooth will be between 0.75" to 1.5" inches
