These Brahin meteorite fragments come from the famed Brahin strewn field in Belarus, a site known for producing stunning pallasite meteorites. Brahin meteorites are unique because they are a type of stony-iron meteorite, featuring a beautiful blend of silicate crystals and metallic iron-nickel, making them one of the most visually striking types of space debris found on Earth.

Pallasites, like Brahin, formed at the boundary between the metal core and silicate mantle of a differentiated asteroid, offering a rare glimpse into the complex layers of these ancient celestial bodies. The translucent olivine crystals (often peridot) embedded in a metallic matrix are what make Brahin meteorites particularly desirable. Discovered in 1807, the Brahin meteorite find has yielded numerous specimens over the years, many of which showcase the exquisite green and yellow olivine crystals.

These meteorites are more than just beautiful—they provide valuable scientific insights into the formation and structure of our solar system. Each fragment is a piece of cosmic history, offering a tangible connection to the deep reaches of space and the processes that shaped planets and asteroids billions of years ago.

Our meteorite samples are sold by weight, (1.2-2.5g) so the shape of the piece you receive may vary. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
