These rostral spines come from late Cretaceous sawfish, and were found in Morocco's Kem Kem Basin. Sawfish are a type of fish with a long spiked snout, and some species are still alive today. Most of these spines will have some repair, but all are in generally good condition!

What was Onchopristis numidus?
Onchopristis numidus is an extinct species of sawfish from the late Cretaceous of Morocco. They are only known from rostral spines and isolated vertebra, because in life they were mostly cartilaginous. Based on the size of the rostral spines they were likely fairly large animals that inhabited shallow waters.
Despite their close resemblance to modern sawfish, the two are not closely related. They're part of the order Rajiformes, which also includes modern skates.
