This listing is for the EXACT TOOTH shown in the photos above! It measures 23 mm from end to end.

This tooth comes from a tyrannosaur, a family of theropod dinosaurs that includes the famous T. rex. It was found in Hill County Montana and comes from the Judith River Formation, an area rich in dinosaur fossils.

Tyrannosaurs were large carnivorous dinosaurs that lived during the Late Cretaceous (approximately 80.6 to 66 million years ago). Their size varied between species, but all varieties could grow to weigh at least 1 metric ton!

Two main tyrannosaurs have been described from the Judith River Formation: Tyrannosaurus rex (T-rex) and Nanotyrannus. The latter is hotly debated among paleontologists, as many believe that Nanotyrannus fossils simply represent juvenile T. rex.

This listing is for the exact tooth shown above. It has minor repairs and restoration, which is visible in the photos. Display case is included!
